To ensure the success of electrified vehicles in China, charging as a mandatory basic function must be ensured. Due to the complexity of China specific charging standards, infrastructure, supply-chain, etc. the implementation and verification of Chinese solutions rely on the responsibilities of this position. The manager is responsible for the charging equipment for every electrified vehicle. We are very customer oriented. Key Objective - Technical leadership of the development team and responsibility for release of every engineering aspect for OBC product development until SOP. - Responsible for product definition of hardware and software, technical specification implementation, change of requirements, sample to sample verification plan and execution, product certificates management and release. - Responsibility for achieving the functional, quality and cost goals of the development object. Major Responsibilities - Responsible for development of OBC (and other charging devices such as charging wallbox, mode-2 charger, V2L devices, etc). - Lead SE-/ BE-Teams or corresponding and support locally the corresponding teams in Munich incl. technical changes and China specific part validation. - Report to the Module and/or project steering circle. Self-reliant preparation and documentation of reports incl. evaluations and conclusions and recommendations for decision circle and process partners. - Ensure efficient communication of technical issues and support discussions with and at local suppliers as also with internal partners. - Monitoring of timing plan and validation schedules. Interpretation and assessment of development progress and test results from suppliers. Control/implementation of all changes within the specified target framework.
